Party in the Park 2023

COVID has not been kind... This is the first school fair since I first encountered facepaint, and I was so happy to be able to be part of the event to provide quality facepaint to attendees!

Painting kids have always been fun, but two things, or maybe three, that truly stood out from the rest and that they made my day were ...

The first client that cried years of joy when she saw her design... I had to give her a hug, but didn't get a chance to take a selfie together. I hope you enjoyed the paint, Eden. You're the sweetest young lady!

The second was actually a group of 2-3 boys, who were teenagers. The first boy asked for a unicorn facepaint but sounds like him and his mates were goofing around getting dares e,g, "i dare you to get one unicorn facepaint". The first one was fun to paint as it was, but the second boy was the one that made my day. He seemed genuinely sincere when he looked me in the eye, and said he enjoyed my art.

The rest of the day was a bit of a blur... with lots of unicorns and princess crowns, but no spiderman! I've missed painting that~ :P
